The platform is preparing a new version of this winter Rom’Com ‘, with unpublished characters, while taking up the basic concept: two women, one British and the other American, exchange their houses for the end of year celebrations … and find love where they did not expect it.

A kind of television remake, which will be made without Nancy Meyers. The famous screenwriter, producer and director of the original film, will not participate in this rereading.

Krissie Ducker (The Split, Call the Midwife) is responsible for writing and will ensure executive production. Rob Delaney will officiate as a consultant. The series will be produced by Left Bank Pictures, the studio behind The Crown. On the other hand, the cast is still being research. No release date is yet mentioned.

Released in 2006, The Holiday brought together Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law and Jack Black.

With more than $ 200 million in global revenue, the film had become a surprise success and has since established itself as a must -have in the end -of -year replays.
