Margot Robbie will be the 50 -foot woman from Tim Burton
The actress is in discussions to produce and embody the heroine of the remake of this cult film from the 1950s.
While returning this week with new episodes on Wednesday for the small screen and Netflix, Tim Burton is already working on his next film.
It will be a remake of The attack of the 50 -foot woman Or Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, Rereading the cult film of 1958, in which a rich heiress, after an extraterrestrial meeting, turns into a giant and takes revenge on her unfaithful husband (a remake had already been made in 1993 with Daryl Hannah).
At the time, Allison Hayes played the title role. And 70 years later, it is Margot Robbie who should take it back. The star is in talks to carry the project of Tim Burton and Warner Bros. If the agreement succeeds, Robbie will co -produce with his company Luckychap.
Tim Burton intends to achieve and produce this remake. The first scenario had been entrusted to Gillian Flynn, author of Gone Girlbut she left the project for other commitments. The team is now looking for a new screenwriter, and Margot Robbie’s involvement in the main role will depend on the final version of the script.
