The live-action Lilo & Stitch movie has a release date

Disney has just revealed the date of its next live-action adaptation.

Before seeing what will give Moana in the flesh at the cinema (it will be in 2026), Disney will present the live-action film Lilo & Stitch. A live-action adaptation of the 2002 classic, the feature film is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp (who signed Marcel the shell (with his shoes), in 2021).

The live-action film Lilo & Stitch will be released in American theaters on May 23, 2025 and May 21, 2025 in France. Or the same day as Mission: Impossible 8 !

Disney shared a short video announcing the release date (below). Maia Kealoha plays Lilo while Sydney Agudong plays Nani. Chris Sanders will once again voice Stitch in the voice cast, while Zach Galifianakis will do that of Dr Jumba and Billy Magnussen from Agent Pleakley.
