The Netflix series won’t live forever. It’s time to end. The final confrontation between Vecna and Eleven, between the Upside Down and the Hawkins gang, as evidenced by this long video of almost 3 minutes, which shows a vast overview of what awaits us in this final season.
An epic conclusion, when the small town of Indiana will be confined, occupied by the army, after the terrible events which concluded season 4. Vecna has not said his last word. Neither does the Mind Flayer. They intend to invade our world.
The trailer brings together all the familiar faces from Stranger Things, united for the final battle. Will, obviously, will play a special role. We also see Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor herself), who plays a mysterious Dr. Kay, while the Demogorgons descend on the soldiers, like a plague on the world.
The official synopsis sets the tone: “Hawkins still bears the scars of the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes have only one goal left: to find and kill Vecna. But he has disappeared. Meanwhile, the government places the city under military quarantine and hunts down Eleven, forced into hiding again. This fifth season is divided into three parts: Volume 1 will arrive on November 27, Volume 2 on December 26, before a finale on January 1 (all at 2 a.m. French time).
