The Russo brothers have fun blurring the tracks.

The directors published yesterday on Instagram a mysterious image linked to Avengers: Doomsdaynext chapter of the Marvel saga expected in theaters on December 18, 2026, just before Avengers: Secret Wars Scheduled for December 17, 2027.

What does this strange photo show? A blurred cliché of a painting covered with entries, accompanied by the hashtag “#DoomsDayiscoming”. What intrigue, disorient, even make fans of the MCU crazy, who are already speculating on its meaning.

Is it a coded message? Announcement of new heads in the casting? Rumors are going well in recent weeks, insistent noises have evoke possible appearances of Doctor Strange, Deadpool, Peggy Carter, Steve Rogers or Spider-Man. The Russo brothers continue to play the teasing card.

Avengers: Doomsday will mark a major turning point in the saga, with a titanic cast led by Robert Downey Jr. (back, but in the role of Doctor Doom) and including Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm), Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Rudd, Tom Hiddleston and many others.
