The Teachers 3 is announced: filming begins (without Kev Adams)
Isabelle Nanty, Christian Clavier and Pierre-François Martin-Laval will this time travel to the past.
Almost 8 million cumulative entries for the first two opuses! Ten years later, here it is The Teachers 3.
The most chaotic teachers in National Education are back for a third round, still led by Pierre-François Martin-Laval, also in front of the camera in the role of Flounder. This time, it will be entirely about time travel!
Stuck in a past where public school does not yet exist, Isabelle Nanty (Gladys, English teacher), Christian Clavier (Tirocu, math teacher), Pierre-François Martin-Laval (Polochon, history teacher), Arnaud Ducret (Eric, sports teacher), Stéfi Celma (Amina, French teacher), Fred Tousch (Albert, chemistry teacher), Jean-Luc Couchard (Maurice, philosophy teacher), Laurent Stocker (Napoléon) and Tom Boudet (Boulard) will have to survive the Napoleonic era…
Note that Kev Adams will not return. It is the young comedian Tom Boudet who will take over the role of Boulard.
Produced by Romain Rojtman, written by Pierre-François Martin-Laval and Mathias Gavarry, the film once again adapts the flagship comic strip by Pica and Erroc published by Bamboo Édition. Filming will start on Monday May 18. No theatrical release date yet.
Synopsis: “LDuring a school trip to Belgium, Les Profs and Boulard are thrown into the past, in the middle of the Napoleonic battle. Here they are, arriving at a time when public schools (and teachers) do not exist. The meeting with the Emperor’s troops, on the verge of collapse, will be explosive to say the least…”
