Screenplay Prize and a Collective Actress Prize for all of its actresses, including Penélope Cruz, also nominated for an Oscar for best actress. One of the Spanish filmmaker’s greatest films, which follows Raimunda and her sister: between their aging aunt, the corpse of a husband and the ghost of their mother, a family drama filled with incredible lightness.
Taxi Tehran – by Jafar Panahi – available until 09/10/2026
Before his Palme d’Or for A simple accident (2025), Jafar Panahi was crowned in Berlin by winning the Golden Bear, for this drama filmed clandestinely in a taxi driven by the director himself, while he was banned from filming by the Iranian regime. A tender and subversive docu-fiction, which tells the story of Tehran, its inhabitants and daily life under the dictatorship.
