Three years later, Sandman is back on Netflix: the breathtaking trailer for season 2

The king of dreams regain service, for the rest and the end of the series from the comics of Neil Gaiman.

He had been able to amaze his world in the summer of 2022. Three years later, what remains of Sandman ? Answer in July, with the long -awaited arrival of season 2 on Netflix. The platform unveiled the release date… and a first trailer (below).

In this impressive video doped with digital effects, which promises a more whimsical universe than ever, the elegant and enigmatic Dream (Tom Sturridge) finds his brothers and sisters, the Endlessfor an face-to-face as cosmic as it is family. A meeting which, as often at Gaiman, flirts with the Greek tragedy and the contemporary myth.

For broadcasting, Netflix has opted for a two -volume format: the first six episodes will be available from the July 3followed by five additional episodes on July 24.

And it will be the end of the series. From the outset, this season 2 had been thought of as the last, as confirmed Allan Heinbergshowrunner and soul of adaptation. The shooting ended in 2023, but it was not until January 2025 that Netflix formalized the end of the series – in a context weighed down by the accusations targeting Neil GaimanCreator of cult comics and executive producer.

Here is what the official synopsis announces: “After decisive reunions with his family, Dream of Infinis (Tom Sturridge) faces a series of impossible choices to save his kingdom, the world of awakening … And himself. On his way, gods, monsters, mortals, friends and enemies. But the path of forgiveness could cost him everything.”
