Tom Holland will make Spider-Man 4 if “the project lives up to the character”
“I’d be an idiot not to wear the costume – I owe it all to Spider-Man,” says Tom Holland.
Good news, the Spider-Man seems to have regained his strength! After admitting to being exhausted by the AppleTv+ series The Crowded RoomTom Holland discusses his return in the costume of Spiderman.
It is on the occasion of the Crtitics Choice Association that Tom Holland spoke about his physical sharing with the character of Peter Parker. For the moment. The actor did not make the new project official, but confirmed that discussions have been able to resume, particularly since the end of the strike in Hollywood which had disrupted negotiations.
“All I can say is that we’ve been actively engaged in conversations about what a fourth part could look like. Either way, we can find a way to do the character justice. I feel very protective of my character. I feel very fortunate to be able to work on a franchise that just keeps getting better and better every time, which I think is a rare thing – I want to protect that legacy“.
The actor added that hewon’t make another film just for the sake of it. The project will have to live up to the character.”.
Tom Holland deeply hopes that something will come to fruition.
“If we can clear this up, I’d be an idiot not to don the costume since I owe everything to Spider-Man. I like the character as well as the people who supervise the project. So, I’d like to come back for a new adventure, but I’ll only come back if it’s something original“.
Until then, Tom Holland starred in Spider-Man in three solo films, Spider-Man Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), and made several appearances in MCU films like Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame And Captain America: Civil War.

Producer Amy Pascal declared in 2021 that she was definitely considering a new trilogy with Tom Holland : “We are ready to make the next Marvel Spider-Man with Tom Holland. We envision it as a trilogy. Spider Man: Now Way Home is not the last of our MCU films.” Which the actor refused to confirm at the time.
Additionally, Marvel Studio President Kevin Feige said in February at Entertainment Weekly : “We have big ideas about it, and our writers are hard at work writing it.“
