Top Gun returns to cinemas for its 40th anniversary
Maverick will once again take flight on the big screen from May 13 to 19, 2026. And for the first time, the first Top Gun will be visible in IMAX, 4DX and Ice Immersive.

Paramount today announced the release of Top Gun And Top Gun: Maverick in French cinemas, for one week only.
Forty years after having marked an entire generation, Tom Cruise will make its comeback on the big screen from May 13 to 19, 2026 only. On this occasion, for the first time, the first Top Gun will be visible in IMAX, 4DX and Ice Immersive.
The two films have already attracted more than 10 million spectators in France (3.5 million admissions for the first and 6.6 million for its sequel) and almost $2 billion at the worldwide box office (thanks to the incredible score of Maverickwhich had totaled 1.5 billion post-Covid).
