“It would have cost 300 million”: Doug Liman is making an AI film with Gal Gadot and Casey Affleck

The feature film was shot in 20 days in a hangar transformed into gray box. A space chosen for its neutrality whose walls have been decorated by AI, which has made it possible to generate more than 200 different decorations:

“There are over 200 distinct locations, from Antarctica to Antigua to Vegas, which is obviously impossible to produce. We realized we could reduce costs by using some of the AI ​​tools available.”

“We decided to use AI early on”, says Ryan Kavanaugh, one of the producers. “Performance is uniquely captured using our AI protocols. So when the scene is generated, the AI ​​takes the performance and builds everything from it”, he continues.
