Trailer for Krapopolis, the new cartoon from the creator of Rick and Morty
A crazy dive into ancient Greece…
He is the creator of Community and the co-creator of rick and morty : Dan Harmon will be back with a brand new crazy cartoon titled Krapopolis.
The story will take us to mythical ancient Greece and follow a dysfunctional family of humans, gods and monsters trying to rule one of the world’s first cities, while doing their best not to kill each other in the process.
“Tyrannis is the mortal son of a goddess. He is the king of Krapopolis, narcissistic and involved, who tries to get by in a city that lives up to his name. Deliria, Tyrannis’ mother, is the goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices. Deliria is as small as she is mighty, and is only interested in defending civilization if it means she will draw more worshipers from it than her enemies on Mount Olympus. Shlub, Tyrannis’ father, is a mantitaur (half centaur, half manticore). He is the self-proclaimed life of the orgy. A real fun lover who thinks everyone should just relax…”
In the voice cast, we will find Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Matt Berry (What We Do in The Shadows), Pam Murphy (Mapleworth Murders) and Duncan Trussell (The Midnight Gospel).
Krapopolis will be launched on September 24 on Fox, during its Sunday evening cartoon evening, alongside the simpsons notably.
