Trailer for No Other Choice: Park Chan-wook readapts The Cleaver with the star of Squid Game

A rereading preceded by excellent word of mouth and which promises to be extremely tense.

Park Chan-wook, the director of Old Boy, Miss, Decision to leave Or Sympathy for Mister Vengeance comes back with No other choice. A social thriller led by Lee Byung-hun (Squid Game) and Ye-jin Son. Inspired by the novel The Ax by Donald Westlake, already adapted in 2005 by Costa-Gavras under the title The Cleaver starring José Garcia, the film caused a sensation at the last Venice festival.

This is the concept: a father loses his job and sees his life collapse. In order to regain a position and his social status, he decides to eliminate – literally – his competitors. The trailer, tense and precise, is already a little treat.

No other choice will be released in cinemas in France on February 11.
