Trailer: Matthew McConaughey leads The Lost Bus at the heart of the flames
Paul Greengrass signs a great catastrophe film in the heart of the Californian blaze.
It is a nice American disaster film, between documentary realism and burning suspense, which promises to increase the temperature this fall on Apple TV+.

In this high-tension drama, Matthew McConaughey embodies a rebel school bus driver who, alongside a teacher embodied by America Ferrera, tries the impossible: saving 22 children trapped in one of the deadliest fires in the history of the United States, California.
Presented in preview at the 50th Toronto Festival, the film arrives on the platform on October 3, 2025 on Apple TV + and also Canal + in France.
Behind the camera, Greanggrass also signs the scenario with Brad Ingelsby, the creator of Mare of Easttown and Task.
