Trailer: Punisher more animal than ever in his Disney+ TV movie

Jon Bernthal is wearing the black skull suit again… and it’s going to hurt!

“To find peace, he will have to give it up…” Whatever that means.

The Punisher will return to Disney Plus next month, in a special TV movie that will be entirely dedicated to him. And obviously, the crazy vigilante isn’t really feeling any better in his head. Haunted by his demons, his past, his crimes, he will still have to take up arms again, as suggested by the trailer for The Punisher: One Last Kill that Marvel has just revealed.

Jon Bernthal slips back into Frank Castle’s black skull suit, still consumed by the loss of his family. The trailer multiplies the visions: Frank seems confronted with older versions of himself, but also with figures from his past. And true to the character, all this is accompanied by a good dose of violence and chaos.

For the rest, the mystery remains around the general plot of The Punisher: One Last Kill. The screenplay is co-written by Jon Bernthal and Reinaldo Marcus Green, who also directs the film. But we don’t know what will make Frank Castle plunge back into hyper-violence, he who purely and simply skipped the anti-Wikson Fisk revolt currently led by Daredevil in season 2 of Born Again.

An absence which will possibly be justified in The Punisher: One Last Kill, but also with his participation in the next Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which will be released in July in cinemas and which will mark the first steps of Frank Castle, Jon Bernthal version, on the big screen.

The Punisher: One Last Kill will be released on May 12 in France on Disney+.
