Tron 3 begins filming with Gillian Anderson

The X-Files and Sex Education actress joins Jared Leto in the cast.

Initially planned for last August, Tron 3 finally launches its production. On Instagram, director Joachim Rønning shared a photo announcing the start of filming, revealing the official logo.

The story of Tron 3 will focus on the emergenceof a sensitive computer program that enters the human world and is not ready for contact“.

Known as Tron: Ares, this third part will be worn by Jared Leto, Jodie Turner-Smith and Greta Lee. Gillian Anderson also joins the production in an unknown role.

Evan Peters, Cameron Monaghan and Sarah Desjardins complete the cast.

Tron 3 will be released in cinemas in 2025.
