Very bad start in France for Freaky Friday 2

The French public preferred to shiver that changing skin this Wednesday.
With 47,785 entries (including 15,000 premieres) Passed outthe horrific thriller worn by Josh Brolin and Julia Garner, won largely at the top of the day box office in France. He signs the second best 2025 start -up for a horror film, just behind Final destination: Bloodlines (48,598 output entries), but which was entitled to a slightly broader combination (424 against 309 copies). Passed out advance for the moment with an excellent average of 155 entries per copy.
Behind the comedy There is no networkled by Gérard Jugnot and Maxime Gasteuil, attracts 25,727 curious on the day of its release, a good start for this feel-good summer movie distributed by Pathé.
On the other hand, it is the grimace soup for Disney with Freaky Friday 2. The continuation entitled Still in my mother’s shoes (in VF) failed to attract nostalgic fans of Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan: only 12,423 admissions for his first day, it’s very little. For the record, the first film had attracted more than 14,500 spectators in 2003… despite a more limited combination (268 copies against 353 today). Above all, Freaky Friday 2 Make a very lose weight of 35 entries per copy. Not helped by gloomy criticism, comedy risks being one of the summer flops in France.
Note that the flop is already there to Badh. The independent French action film distributed by Pan, and carried by the excellent Marine Vacth in Jason Bourne mode, painfully starts with 5,680 admissions on 181 copies.
