Victor Wembanyama will be entitled to his animated series on TF1!
The French star of San Antonio Spurs transposes his nickname in “Alien Dunk”, an animated series where basketball and science fiction mix for a cosmic adventure thought for young fans.
Victor Wembanyama, the French basketball star, ventures on a new field.
The leader of the San Antonio Spurs has just signed to make Alien Dunk, an animated series inspired by his nickname in the NBA, where the Americans call him “the alien” because of his athletic qualities unique in the world.
Produced by Philippe and Guillaume Soutter via PGS Entertainment, the series is much more than a simple TV program: ambition is to make it a real franchise, declined in webtoons, video games, editions and interactive experiences. The TF1 channel has already joined the adventure and will broadcast the series in France, while the animation studio Stim (which worked on the wild robot) will ensure its realization. Victor Wembanyama is delighted:
“Seeing my animated version is an incredible experience. It brings together two things that I love: basketball and space. But what is enthusiastic about me is to create a universe for children, filled with fun, imagination and inspiration”.

The former rookie of the year will lend his gestures, captured in motion capture, to the main hero of Alien Dunk. The latter, called Victor, teams up with his sister Eve and a group of marginal aliens to compete in the starball League, intergalactic basketball version and ultimate hope to preserve peace in the universe.
Halfway between comedy and science fiction, Alien Dunk is designed to seduce both sports enthusiasts and animation fans. Imagined by Rémi Guérin, Christophe Fossard and Audrey-Anne Bazard The series will also be accompanied by a dedicated Discord server and a large device of licenses and local partnerships piloted by TF1.
“Victor is not only an alien for his exceptional physical capacities, but also for the positive values which he embodies outside the field. This makes him a natural animated hero and the perfect heart of Alien Dunk”, underlines Philippe Soutter.
26 22 -minute episodes are ordered. No release date yet.
