We know who will play Shrek’s sons in Shrek 5
A Superman actor will join the animated saga.
The kingdom of Fort Fort Faraway continues to expand its family.
Marcello Hernández and Skyler Gisondo officially join the cast of Shrek 5 to lend their voices to Fergus and Farkle, the sons of Shrek and Fiona.
Hernández, revealed by “SNL” and recently seen in Happy Gilmore 2definitely goes on to comedies, since he will also be appearing in 72 Hours. For his part, Skyler Gisondo continues his rise after being revealed in the series Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix. He was later seen in Licorice Pizza And Booksmartand above all he is the new Jimmy Olsen of the DCU since the Superman by James Gunn last summer.
This announcement certainly means that the two sons will hold a central place in the story of the new part, but it is Felicia, the daughter of Shrek and Fiona, who should be the star of the opus. She will be dubbed by Zendaya.
Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz will obviously reprise their cult roles of Shrek, Donkey and Fiona.
The production is entrusted to Conrad Vernon and Walt Dohrn. Vernon has already co-signed Shrek 2 And Madagascar 2and embodies the cult voice of Gingy, the Little Biscuit.
Universal and DreamWorks Animation will release Shrek 5 on June 30, 2027.
