The film in theaters: Attachment de Carine Tardieu

After Young loversCarine Tardieu touches just again with this chronicle which makes you rhyme subtlety and depth. Everything starts from a tragedy. The death of a woman by giving birth to her second child. Attachment will therefore tell the impact of this brutal disappearance on the lives of those who remain. His companion and his first son of course. But also his neighbor, a single -sized childless and happy to be that will gradually get closer to them. Here it is a question of mourning, love, filiation over a scenario of an incredible fluidity which tightens your heart without ever forcing the line. All magnified by a trio of actors (Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, Pio Marmaï and Vimala Pons) who excels in an interiority in the game that we rarely asked them to explore.

The film in VOD: Mercy by Alain Guiraudie

UFO in the ultra-saved world of César, this Mercy Totate 8 appointments thus appearing to be turbulent. True love phew was that one. Where how a love priest suits the affairs of a young and beautiful criminal. In the country atmosphere, nocturnal and tense of an Aveyron village, Guiraudie looks at his little world with the eyes of a Luis Buñuel or a Claude Chabrol. Apparent naturalism is a trompe-l’oeil as much as a trompe-la-mort. The fantastic is constantly watching. In the middle of the rubble, Catherine Frot watches over the grain. Believe us on their word, lovers of mushrooms will have for their costs.

The classic: The idealist by Francis Ford Coppola (1997)

The idealist (The Rainmaker In VO, it’s more beautiful), the claimed classicism seems to close a page of the Filmo de Coppola. 1997, soon the arrival of digital and the new millennium will force the artist Coppola to (r) to open new formal and narrative paths (even if it means losing us) this Idealistic allows you to grasp the extreme finesse of its staging, and in particular the way in which its camera scrutinizes the fragility – therefore the interior chaos – of the protagonists while remaining here in the service of the solid novel by John Grisham that it adapts (story ‘A trial around a crooked insurance company) Matt Damon (exceptional), Danny Devito (Itou), Claire Danes (Itou), Mickey Rourke (just before the Boursoufflures) … There is also Danny Glover, John Voigt and Roy Scheider… Elmer Bernstein and Alex North in the score … In short, you know what you are going to watch this weekend!
