The comedy with Camille Chamoux and Jonathan Cohen returns to TF1 this summer Tuesday.

Marion and Ben, both in their thirties, meet on Tinder. That’s about all they have in common; but opposites attract, and they decide early in the morning of their meeting to go on vacation together, despite the advice of those around them. They end up going to… Bulgaria, halfway to their dream destinations: Beirut for Marion, Biarritz for Ben. Without a specific plan and, as they will soon discover, with very different ideas of what a dream vacation should be…

At 9:10 p.m., the first channel will rebroadcast First vacationa comedy by Patrick Cassir, co-written by his partner Camille Chamoux, who plays the main role alongside Jonathan Cohen, Camille Cottin, Jérémie Elkaïm and Vincent Dedienne. First advises you not to miss the beginning, because it is the best part of the film. After that, unfortunately, it gets worse… Here is our review.

First Vacation – Camille Chamoux: “Bulgaria is a country that you have to earn”

This is a comedy that starts off with a bang. The meeting via Tinder of the couple at the heart of this plot (two Parisian thirty-somethings who are apparently complete opposites) is a model of efficiency that has nothing to envy the Anglo-Saxon summits of the genre. But it is after this prologue that things go wrong, the two lovebirds deciding, against the advice of all their loved ones, to go on holiday together right halfway to their dream destinations: Bulgaria. Because Patrick Cassir then decides to play with clichés, both around the Parisian bobo and the average Bulgarian who is necessarily exotic in the eyes of the Frenchman on the spree. This little game backfires, the gags become crude, the situational comedy pedals in the semolina and the effectiveness of its first minutes is nothing more than a distant memory.
