Bad Monkey will return for a season 2 on Apple TV+

The detective series worn by Vince Vaughn is not finished.

Vince Vaughn will be able to continue playing mariole in Florida. Detective Andrew Yancy will return to service in season 2 of Bad Monkey on Apple TV+. Broadcast this summer, the detective series with tasty black comedy overtones has just been renewed.

Adaptation of the novel by Carl Hiasen, Bad Monkey had a sequel in bookstores entitled Razor Girl, and published in 2016. Logically this volume 2 should serve as the basis for season 2.

“I hope people know that Carl Hiasen is one of my idols and an inspiration to me as a writer” comments showrunner and executive producer Bill Lawrence in a press release. “To be able to continue to tell his story with Vince Vaughn and this great cast – at least the characters who are still alive – is very exciting.”
