Jeffrey Wright will be in The Last of Us 2, to reprise his role from the video games

He will play Isaac Dixon, a character he already voiced on consoles.

Out of Westworldthe excellent Jeffrey Wright returns to the small screen and HBO for season 2 of The Last of Us. And it was predictable!

The Oscar-nominated actor will play the character he already played in the Isaac Dixon video game and which was already modeled more or less on him! Logically, Jeffrey Wright will therefore be the one who will bring Isaac to life in the rest of the television adaptation.

The character is described as “a quiet and powerful leader of a large militia who initially sought freedom but instead became mired in an endless war against a surprisingly resourceful enemy“.

Pedro Pascal And Bella Ramsey will return to the cast, as will Gabriel Luna (Tommy) and Rutina Wesley (Maria). Joining the cast will be Kaitlyn Dever, Isabela Merced, Young Mazino, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, Spencer Lord and Danny Ramirez, as well as Catherine O'Hara.

Still directed by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, this second season of The Last of Us should be broadcast in 2025 on Max.
