Belphegor will come back to haunt the Louvre, in December on HBO Max

The famous French TV ghost will this time cross the road to Shirine Boutella.

Sixty years after icing the blood of ORTF spectators, Belphégor is getting a facelift. The event series, produced by Pathé in collaboration with HBO Max and M6, will be available in full on HBO Max in December 2025, before a clear broadcast on M6 and M6+ current 2026.

This fantastic mini-series in four episodes, produced by Jérémy Mainguy, revisits the myth in a modern version, mixing police investigation, intimate and supernatural drama. Shot in the heart of Paris and even within the grounds of the Louvre, it promises a unique, mysterious and spectacular atmosphere.

At the center of the story, Hafsa (embodied by Shirine Boutella), a young art restaurateur freshly recruited at the Louvre, sees her life rocking the day when she meets a millennial mask of the God of the Belphegor storm. From then on, she finds herself taken in a spiral of inexplicable disappearances. To explode the truth, Hafsa will have to face those who track it … but also its own ghosts.

Around Shirine Boutella, a five -star cast: Vincent Elbaz, Aure Atika, Tiphaine Daviot, Nicolas Briançon, without forgetting Kad Merad, present in a mysterious role.

On the occasion of the presentation of the series at the La Rochelle fiction festival, HBO Max and M6 today unveil new unpublished images which confirm the visual care given to this fantastic thriller.
