Benjamin Lavernhe has a sense of celebration on the 2026 César poster
With a nod to Jim Carrey, who will receive an honorary César during the ceremony.
Benjamin Lavernhe will be the Master of Ceremonies of the 51st César ceremony, which will take place on February 27 at the Olympia. And he also has the honor of appearing on the event poster, which features an image of the Meaning of the Partytaken from the balloon scene where his character flies into the sky in front of his astonished wedding guests (see the video at the end of the article).
As the Academy press release specifies, this visual representing the moon is also a nod to Jim Carrey and his role in Man of the MoonMiloš Forman’s biopic on Andy Kaufman. A nod at all insignificant since we know that the American actor will receive an honorary César during the ceremony.
The nominations for the 2026 César Awards will be announced in two weeks, on January 28. The revelations were revealed last November. The ceremony will be chaired this year by Camille Cottin and can be followed live and unencrypted on Canal Plus.
