Seven years after Game of Thrones, Sophie Turner and Kit Harington reunite in a horror film

If they were brothers and sisters in the most watched American series in HBO history (until the arrival of The Last of Us), Game of ThronesSophie Turner and Kit Harington this time share an intimate relationship in Natasha Kermani’s next film. On the other hand, it is in the same medieval setting that the actors evolve. The film will take place in the 15th century during the War of the Roses, the same conflict inspired the creator of the successful saga, George RR Martin.

After The price of secrecy And VHS 85the Iranian-American screenwriter and director, specialist in horror, returns with a new film, The Dreadfuland offers a choice casting. She did not hide her joy in an interview with the magazine Entertainment Weekly :

“Working with such a cast was a joy from start to finish, and of course seeing Kit and Sophie together on screen again was particularly exciting.”

The film tells the story of Anne, played by Sophie Turner, living on the margins with her stepmother. Everything changes for the two women when Jago, a man from their past returned from the war and played by Kit Harington, reappears in their lives. A curse in the shape of a knight follows… Filmed in England, the feature film will be released on February 20 in the United States.

However, the excitement seemed less present on the part of actress Sophie Turner who declared on the set of the American show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, last August, having had want to vomit during a kissing scene with Kit Harington. The Jon Snow actor, for his part, was delighted to find his playing partner and friend: “It was like being with family. Really.”

Alongside the two star actors, we will find Marcia Gay Harden (Mystic River) in the role of the mother-in-law, Jonathan Howard (Thor: The Dark World) and Laurence O’Fuarain (The Gentlemen).
