Bernard Campan and Isabelle Carré open the door to neighbors in And more if affinities
The meeting between two couples will liven up a dinner that will go down in history…
After 25 years of living together, Xavier and Sophie are in search of sensations, despite the reluctance of Xavier, a bit (f)rigid. Sophie takes the lead by inviting their neighbors, Adèle and Alban, to the great displeasure of Xavier. The latter criticizes the lovers for indulging too noisily in the activity. It’s the clash of civilizations between an unbridled couple and a couple disillusioned by this immodest alchemy. Xavier and Sophie face this reality head on, before being taken by surprise by an indecent proposition.
Directed and written by Olivier Ducray (Last days of a country doctor) And Wilfried Meance (Twins but not toop), And maybe more emerged as the big winner of the Alpe d’Huez Festival 2024 with the special jury prize, the public prize as well as the two interpretation prizes awarded to Isabelle Carré And Bernard Campan. Faced with this duo, Pablo Pauly And Julia Faure will share the couple’s table for dinner.
“Our references were Carnage and Le Prénom, where we witness the explosion of a group starting from a more or less serious triggering incident. The characters clash over both their conception of the world and their social affiliations“, explain Wilfried Meance in the press kit.
And maybe more will be released on April 3, 2024 in theaters.
