Blue Beetle: 2 post-credits scenes for the next DC movie
Even though it’s not a James Gunn and Peter Safran movie, even though it’s not quite part of the new DC Studios franchise, Blue Beetle hopes to settle in the long term within the franchise. And will, as a result, offer post-credits scenes to tease a possible return of Jaime Reyes…
According to Max Blizz, director Angel Manuel Soto recently hosted a premiere for the film at a block party in Austin. And the first spectators of Blue Beetle were able to see two post-generic scenes. The exact nature of these post-credits scenes, or what they feature, has not been revealed. However, “something bigger” is suggested in these scenes, opening the door for a return of Blue Beetle in the DC Universe sequel. Which would already be a surprise in itself.
It is Xolo Mariduenahero of the series Cobra-Kai from Netflix, who will play Blue Beetle, in this film directed by Angel Manuel Soto.
In the casting, Adriana Barraza, Damían Alcázar, Elpidia Carrillo, Bruna Marquezine will surround the hero while Susan Sarandon will play the villain.
Blue Beetle will be released in theaters on August 16, 2023 in France. And it will be the last film in the old DCEU, as Warner Bros. will reboot everything from The Flash (released June 16) to leave the field open to the universe imagined by James Gunn.
