You shouldn’t look too hard for people to breaking Bad ! Players Brian Cranston, Jesse Plemons And Aaron Paul gathered in front of the gates of Sony Pictures Studios last week, to demonstrate with the other members of the actors’ union SAG-AFTRA on strike.
Interviewed by Entertainment Tonight Canada, Aaron Paulthen revealed not to receive a cent from Netflix, which continues to broadcast breaking Bad in the world and who makes the film El Camino with him.
“To be completely honest, I don’t receive any compensation from Netflix on breaking Bad. Nothing. And I find it completely crazy!”
He explains his reasoning: “The series live forever on these streaming platforms and it comes in waves. I just saw the other day that Breaking Bad was still trending on Netflix, among the most watched series. And it will be so much common sense (that the actors receive a share). Many of these streamers know that they are getting away with not paying people a fair wage. But now it’s time to extend the currency!”
