Bridgerton, season 4: part 2 delivers its feverish trailer

The love story between Benedict and Sophie seems more impossible than ever…

Three weeks later, the end of the season is revealed…

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the second part of season 4 of Bridgerton, which will conclude the romance between Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Sophie (Yerin Ha).

Still obsessed by the mysterious “Lady in Silver” he met at the masked ball, he is still unaware that it is in reality the servant Sophie, threatened with being unmasked. This second part, expected on February 26 on Netflix, promises a clash between romantic dream and social reality, while the other members of the family also continue their sentimental intrigues.

Part 2 picks up where Benedict’s fantasy collides with reality. As his feelings for Sophie intensify, the trailer hints at growing tensions around questions of class, identity and loyalty, pushing Benedict to question whether love can truly exist outside of the rigid expectations of his environment. For her part, Sophie is increasingly threatened as her secret risks being revealed. For their part, Francesca (Hannah Dodd) and John Stirling (Victor Alli) settle into their newlywed life, while Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) come to terms with their new reality as husbands… complicated by Penelope’s now public role as Lady Whistledown.

There are still four episodes to watch in this fourth part, the plot of which is inspired by the novel An Offer from a Gentleman, the third volume in the saga by Julia Quinn.

Also in the cast will be Katie Leung as Lady Araminta Gun, Michelle Mao as Rosamund Li and Isabella Wei as Posy Li.
