Nathan Ambrosioni’s new film was crowned at the last Angoulême Festival.
The gifted man of French cinema confirms all the hopes placed in him. Revealed in 2019 with his first feature film, Paper flagswritten when he was only 17 years old, the young director Nathan Ambrosioni won the Valois diamond at the Angoulême Festival a few weeks ago with his third film, The children are fine.
He reunites with Camille Cottin, whom he had already directed as Mother Courage in Toni, with family. This time she plays an aunt who has to take care of her sister’s (Juliette Armanet) children, who entrusts her with her daughter and son without even warning her, before disappearing into thin air. Monia Chokri completes the cast of this family drama, which is scheduled for release in theaters on December 3. Trailer:
