Cannes 2025: Films selected at Critics Week
Seven feature films will be in competition against the jury of Rodrigo Sorogoyen.
In the wake of the announcement of the official selection of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, it’s time for Criticism.
Last year, Simon de la Montaña of Federico Luis won the Grand Prix, marking the spirits with its accuracy and its sensitivity. This year again, the Criticism Returns to highlight the first and second feature films around the world.
Four prizes will be awarded: the Leitz Cine discovery price for the best short film, the Louis Roederer Foundation Prize from the Revelation, the French Touch Touch Prize of the Jury and of course, the Grand Prix Ami de la Critic Week 2025.
The Spanish director Rodrigo Sorogoyen will chair the jury for this 64th edition, which will be held from May 14 to 22, 2025.
Here are the films selected this year, including Adam’s interest from Laura Wandel (with Anamaria Vartolomei and Léa Drucker) who will open the week, Fuck by Martin Jauvat (with Emmanuelle Bercot and William Lebghil) and Evidence of love Alice Douard (With Ella Rumf, Monia Chokri and Noémie Lvovsky).
