Clash in Westeros as the shooting of season 3 of House of the Dragon begins

“I have been a fan of Song of Ice and Fire for almost 25 years and working on this series has been one of the greatest privileges, not only of my career as a screenwriter, but also of my life as a science fiction and fantasy adrator. George is a monument, a literary icon, and a personal hero who has enormously influenced my journey.”
Inevitably, the author’s criticisms therefore touched him a lot, but he justifies his scriptwriting choices, because Fire & Blood “is an incomplete story, and this requires connecting many points and inventing elements on the way. I have done everything my best to include George in the adaptation process.
