Colin Farrell evokes the place of the penguin in The Batman 2
The Irish actor confirms his return to the shoes of the famous DC. But…
In the wake of the HBO series broadcast last year, we know that we will find Colin Farrell in the skin of Oswald “Oz” Cobb alias the penguin for The Batman: Part II. The actor has just temper their expectations.
In an interview with ThewrapFarrell confirmed that he will be present in the rest of Matt Reeves, but in a limited capacity:
“I’m going to discover the script this week, and I will come for the necessary duration … Let’s say that I don’t have many scenes, from what I understood. But I will be there whatever happens. Matt Reeves is brilliant. I don’t know what is the story yet, but I know that he has worked like crazy for years to deliver something special with this suite.”
A not so surprising revelation: for several months, Colin Farrell had been elusive about his future in the franchise. Officially committed to three films, its exact importance in each is still mysterious.
According to recent information, The Batman: Part II must enter into production in January 2026 at the Warner Bros. studios. from Leavesden, near London. The cast will confirm the return of Robert Pattinson (Batman), Andy Serkis (Alfred) and Jeffrey Wright (Jim Gordon). As for Barry Keoghan, he is “expected” to return to a joker, even if Warner Bros. has not yet validated the news.
Exit scheduled for September 29, 2027 at the cinema.
