Daddio: the first images from the film with Sean Penn and Dakota Johnson
The film only has the two actors in the cast, and takes place entirely in a taxi.
Sean Penn And Dakota Johnson have a lot to say in the film Daddio. In the feature film, which marks the very first production of Christy Hall, the two actors play strangers who get to know each other during a taxi ride.
The first images were released this Wednesday by Entertainment Weekly. We discover the actress of Fifty Shades of grey And Persuasion in the back of the car, after she had just landed at JFK airport. Sean Penn plays the taxi driver. The latter begins an unexpected conversation with his passenger, “which quickly moves from playful chatter to light-hearted banter to screaming frankness about sensitive topics like love, loss, sex, and power dynamics in relationships”specifies the synopsis.
We are therefore faced with a closed session without much artifice, with only two actors in the cast. The director first thought Daddio like a play, before turning to the big screen. The film will be presented at the Toronto Film Festival, which will be held from September 7 to 17. No release date has been revealed at this time.
