David Duchovny in X-Files mode causes a stir during the strike in Hollywood
Fox Mulder is on the front line: “I don’t trust my employer to tell me how well I am!”
The truth is elsewhere said X Files. The Truth is out there. And recipes too. That’s what stands for David Duchovny, who stepped up to the plate with his striking colleagues from SAG-AFTRA. The American TV star actor appeared holding a sign “The residue is there“, echoing the famous slogan of X Filesand claiming that the revenue generated by studios and platforms leaves enough money to better pay actors.
“We’ve always worked in a company that rewarded success and didn’t want failure! Now we have opaque streamers that kind of tell us what’s success and what’s failure. But me, I don’t Don’t trust my employer to tell me how well I am!” explain David Duchovny at Deadline, on the sidelines of the event.

The actor was even joined by his friend from X Files, Annabeth Gishwhich ensures the site : “We really fight for what we deserve. As someone who endured and lived through the golden age, the golden age is sadly over.”

The actors’ strike has been going on for a week and joins that of the screenwriters, which began on May 4.
