David Fincher once again extends his contract with Netflix
The director of The Killer is visibly happy with his relationship with the streaming service.
Met in December to talk about his new thriller The Killer, David Fincher confirmed in First that he intended to renew his confidence in Netflix. Under contract with the firm for almost a decade, he participated in developing series with them (House of Cards, Mindhunter, Love, Death & Robots…), and films such as Mank And The Killer, SO. His contract had been renewed until 2024, and he specifies in our pages that it was recently re-signed for three additional years.
The director of Seven and of Fight Club will therefore continue to supervise projects for this streaming service until 2027, at least. At 61, will he finally be able to complete his series on serial killers, season 3 of which was canceled? Or will he be more interested in animation, after his good experience on the episode of Love, Death & Robots titled Bad trip ?

Fincher does not detail precisely what his next achievement and/or production will be for the firm, but he confirms his attachment to the platform in The worldgrateful to Netflix “ the best quality control » at all Hollywood. Considering that traditional film studios are gradually closing the door to authors, he says he can develop his film and series projects with great freedom within the company at N Rouge.
