Disney+ reveals the date of Percy Jackson and the Olympians (teaser)
The series will pick up from the beginning, eclipsing the movies starring Logan Lerman.
At the very beginning of 2022, Rick Riordan, the author of the literary saga Percy Jacksonwas very proud to announce that it was going to be the subject of a new adaptation, this time serial. After two films released in 2010 and 2013, here is Percy Jackson and the Olympianswhich will follow the young man discovering that his father is none other than the God of the seas: Poseidon.
It’s Walker Scobell, the revelation ofAdam through time, who succeeds Logan Lerman in this role, and he will face Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood and Lin Manuel Miranda as Hermes, the messenger of the Gods. The series is conceived by the author himself, who is writing with Jon Steinberg (Black Sails). James Bobin (The Mysterious Benedict Society) directs the first episode.
