A new Apple TV+ series starring Lambert Wilson, Amira Casar and Carole Bouquet, which tells the story of the rivalry between two great houses and a merciless war of succession.

It will be a bit like Succession French style, in the mysteries of Parisian fashion. Apple today unveiled the trailer for The Househis new French creation, which will tell the story of a legendary haute couture house, facing a constantly changing world. How to renew itself? Stay in tune with the times? While dealing with internal rivalries and the war with another major luxury house that wants its skin?

The synopsis already announces: “Led by a scandal-ridden dynasty and forced to reinvent itself after the release of a video involving star designer Vincent Ledu, her family’s haute couture house is hanging by a thread. Perle Foster, Vincent’s former muse and still in his shadow today, teams up with Paloma Castel, from a new generation of visionary designers, to save and reinvent Maison LEDU. Taking advantage of Vincent’s fall, Diane Rovel, the ruthless director of the powerful Rovel luxury group, goes on the offensive to fulfill her dream: to take over Maison LEDU. In her quest, all blows are allowed because it is above all about satisfying her revenge.”

Lambert Wilson, Amira Casar And Carole Bouquet will take the cast, with also Zita Hanrot, Pierre Deladonchamps, Antoine Reinartz, Anne Consigny, Florence Loiret Quail And Ji-Min Park.

Created by showrunners José Caltagirone and Valentine Milville and directed by Fabrice Gobert (The Revenants) and Daniel Grou alias Podz (Lupin), The House has 10 episodes. The first two episodes will be available from Friday, September 20, 2024 on Apple TV+ – and also in France on Canal + – followed by a new episode each week until Friday, November 15, 2024.
