George Clooney announces filming in 2026 for Ocean 14
Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts are expected to return too.
Two decades after the first heist, Danny Ocean and his gang are preparing for a new XXL heist.
George Clooney confirmed this to E! News: Ocean 14 is on track.
“We just got the budget green light from Warner Bros. and we’re in the process of getting organized. It’s just a matter of planning, setting a start date. We’ll probably start shooting within nine or ten months.”
And the cult cast is expected to be there: Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon and Don Cheadle should reprise their roles.
George Clooney doesn’t hide his excitement: “Brad, Matt, Don and Julia…I had dinner last night with Julia. We’re still really good friends. So the chance to work together again would be really fun.”
Already in 2023, the actor had mentioned a “great script”. It’s now David Leitch (Bullet Train, The Fall Guy) who will pilot this new adventure, taking over from Steven Soderbergh.
His original trilogy marked the beginning of the 2000s: Ocean’s Eleven (2001) and its 450 million dollars at the worldwide box office, followed by Ocean’s Twelve ($362 million) and Ocean’s Thirteen ($311 million). In 2018, the spin-off Ocean’s 8led by Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett, had made another 300 million.
For now, Ocean 14 has no release date. But if filming takes place by summer 2026, as Clooney seems to say, a release around summer 2027 seems entirely possible.
