He-Man in live-action! The impressive trailer for the film Masters of the Universe

This time, it’s Nicholas Galitzine (romantic hero of The idea of being with you) who will brandish the sword of the kingdom of Eternia, to play Prince Adam aka He-Man… aka He-Man in French..
Amazon MGM Studios has just revealed the slightly crazy trailer for its adaptation of the Mattel saga The Masters of the Universe (see below). A live-action film, full of CGI, which will attempt to launch a big fantasy franchise with childish accents.
The film is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on June 5, 2026 in the United States. For the moment, no French date announced.
“After being separated for fifteen years, the Sword of Power returns Prince Adam to Eternia, where he finds his world ravaged by Skeletor’s evil rule. To save his family and his universe, Adam must ally himself with his closest allies, Teela and Duncan / Man-At-Arms, and embrace his true destiny by becoming He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe“, says the official synopsis.
Idris Elba and Camila Mendes as well as Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Charlotte Riley and Jared Leto, complete the cast. Kristen Wiig lending her voice to the character of Roboto.
The production is entrusted to Travis Knight.
