Is there a connection between Peaky Blinders and A Thousand Blows?
The creator, Steven Knight, answers us.
In spring 2023, Steven Knight made infidelities to Peaky Blindersby launching the filming of another historic criminal series, devoted to another English gang, that of the “Forty Elephants”, in A Thousand Blows (Launched this weekend on Disney Plus).
At the same time, the British screenwriter was refining the writing of the film Peaky Blinderswith Cillian Murphy back in the shoes of Tommy Shelby between Birmingham and London. Two series with multiple similarities, but two completely different series, for Steven Knightwhich entrusts first to have always wanted to separate the two universes. For him, no connection exists between Peaky Blinders And A Thousand Blows ::

Steven Knight will therefore continue to carry several front projects. And he makes a point on the production of the film for us Peaky Blinderseagerly awaited by fans:
“The shooting is finished. I saw the first rushs. I will see the first assembly soon. With the casting we have, I am convinced that it will give something remarkable!”
