Isabelle Huppert is the richest woman in the world: trailer
“Rich, it’s not very pretty. Wealthy, it’s better!”
Laurent Lafitte takes advantage of The richest woman in the worldin the first overview of Thierry Klifa’s new film, a trailer that promises a creaky comedy, a biting satire inspired by the Bettencourt affair.
Taking a lot of liberties – the names have been changed – she tells in her own way the influence that photographer had François -Marie Banier had on Liliane Bettencourt, to the chagrin of her entourage and her daughter, Françoise Bettencourt -Meyers, who had ended up starting legal proceedings. In this feature film, Klifa is primarily interested in the intimate life of Marianne Farrère (Isabelle Huppert), heiress and patron of the Windler group, the richest woman in the world. The film explores the duo she formed with the writer and photographer Pierre-Alain Fantin (Laurent Lafitte), between friendship and abuse of weakness, a link which perceives the entourage of the billionaire.
The trailer reveals a story where passion and strategy are mixed. “”The richest woman in the world: her beauty, her intelligence, her power. A photographer writer: his ambition, his insolence, his madness. The love at first sight that takes them“Details the synopsis.”A suspicious heiress that fights to be loved. A butler on the lookout who knows more than he says. Family secrets. Astronomical donations. A war where all blows are allowed.“”
Alongside the duo Huppert-Lafitte, Marina Foïs will be a suspicious girl and Raphaël Personnaz the attentive butler. The film also brings together André Marcon and Mathieu Demy.
Presented in Cannes last May, the film will be released on October 29 in France in the cinema.
