Lyna Khoudri leads the Amazon Gang robbers: trailer

A women’s thriller, based on a true story, which brings together an XXL cast: Izïa Higelin, Mallory Wanecque, Kenza Fortas, Laura Felpin and Lyna Khoudri.

To get out of trouble, a group of friends decide to rob banks.

This is the effective pitch of Amazon Ganga female thriller, inspired by real events, which brings together an impressive cast, which we discover in the trailer (below).

Lyna Khoudri (The Three Musketeers) seems to lead the band, with, around her, Izïa Higelin (Samba), Mallory Wanecque (Phew Love), Kenza Fortas (North Bac) and Laura Felpin (brief 2).

The five thieves are five childhood friends who, in the early 90s, in the Avignon region, hit the headlines.

Between January 1989 and July 1990, they robbed no fewer than seven banks, always disguised as men so as not to be recognized. Very quickly, the media nicknamed them “the Amazon Gang”. They were finally arrested as they were preparing to commit their eighth robbery, with nearly 300,000 francs already stolen.

Directed by Mélissa Drigeard who signed the friends film Hawaii (in 2023), The Amazon Gang will be released in cinemas on November 12, 2025.
