My Name is Nobody re-releases in restored 4K version (trailer)
Lost Films and StudioCanal are behind the reissue of this essential western starring Henry Fonda and Terence Hill.
One of the most beautiful westerns ever made, initially released in theaters on December 13, 1973, returns to theaters in a brand new 4K version. Directed by Tonino Valeriithe film tells the journey of a legend of the West, Jack Beauregard (Henry Fonda), who plans to end his career as a gangster by going into exile in Europe. His retirement is unacceptable for Nobody (Terence Hill) determined to push Jack to fight the Savage Horde.
First name “Person” refers to a trick of Odysseus in The Odyssey, when he responds to the Cyclops Polyphemus when questioning him about his identity. The hero announces his name “Person“, so when the Cyclops is then asked who put out his eye, the latter can only answer “Person”.
