New dive into the world of Avatar: Fire and Water trailer
Before the release of Avatar 3, Disney Plus will broadcast a major documentary dedicated to the creation and production of James Cameron.
Everything you see on screen is the work of actors, actresses, technicians. Despite the special effects, CGI and motion capture, Avatarit is first and foremost a human adventure.
This is, in short, the message of the film’s trailer. Of fire and water: the creation of Avatar, a major documentary which will be released on Disney+ on November 7, 2025, one month before the arrival ofAvatar 3 in the rooms. Watch the trailer below.
Before this third part of the franchise, James Cameron will reveal behind the scenes of Pandora, through this documentary in two parts, presented as a dive into the creation ofAvatar: The Way of Water (2022), and which will also offer an exclusive preview of the highly anticipated Avatar: Of Fire and Ashesexpected in theaters on December 17, 2025.
According to Varietythis major documentary will offer “an in-depth exploration of the making of the second film, featuring never-before-seen footage from the sets and interviews with the art team and cast, including James Cameron, the late producer Jon Landau, Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña and Kate Winslet.”
Recently, Zoe Saldaña herself called for such a project: “This would finally allow us to explain, precisely, why performance capture is the most liberating form of interpretation.”
