New images from Ridley Scott’s post-apocalyptic film starring Jacob Elordi

20th Century Studios has released a new trailer for The Dog Starsthe next film by Ridley Scott, expected in French theaters on August 26.
Adapted from the eponymous novel by Peter Heller (published in 2012), the film immerses us in a post-apocalyptic universe where survivors try to rebuild their existence after a catastrophe that decimated a large part of humanity.
Headlining, Jacob Elordi, star ofEuphoria, shares the screen with a particularly prestigious cast composed of Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, Allison Janney, Benedict Wong and Guy Pearce. This new trailer offers a more detailed overview of the atmosphere of the film, between desolate landscapes, permanent tension and the quest for an Eldorado where to start all over again, in a world where every encounter rhymes with danger.
“In a lawless post-apocalyptic world, Hig, a young pilot, has created a protected but isolated home for himself with the help of Bangley, a military survivalist. One day, a mysterious radio transmission pushes him to venture to the frontiers of the unknown in search of a final hope…” details the synopsis.
