Officially renewed foundation for a season 4

Apple has not yet finished with Asimov.

Apple TV+ has just announced the renewal of its science fiction fresco Foundation for a fourth season.

Adapted from the cult work of Isaac Asimov, the series had made its debut in 2021. The new fall while the final of season 3 is expected this Friday, September 12 on the platform, with an episode where “Gaal and the second foundation take their flight to the mule, while the heritage of the emperor is under catastrophic blow.”

At the helm, the executive showrunners and producers Ian Goldberg and David Kob are delighted: “There is no series comparable to Foundation and we are honored to continue the adventure in season 4. We are looking forward to continuing to develop this epic and emotional narration that defined the first three seasons.”

For his part, Matt Cherniss, head of Apple TV+programming, underlines the extent of the phenomenon: “It is fantastic to see Foundation becomes a worldwide success. At each new season, the craze continues to grow thanks to the audacity of the story and the talent of his exceptional creative team. We are impatient to explore this universe in season 4.”

This season 4 of Foundation does not yet have a release date.
