Pierre Niney shoots The Count of Monte Cristo in a Titanic-style pool
Pierre Niney makes his fans salivate by publishing filming images that are impressive to say the least.
After being placed in control of the scenario of Three Musketeers, Matthew Delaporte And Alexandre de la Patellière (First name) are working towards achieving the Count of Monte Cristo, another major literary work of the 19th century by Alexandre Dumas. In the casting of this ambitious project, Anaïs Demoustier, Laurent Laffite, Bastien Bouillon but also Pierre Niney, who generously shares his filming memories. For The Book of Solutions of Michael Gondry, the Gard decor gave a holiday feel. In a completely different atmosphere, the actor takes us through the filming of Monte Cristo, subdued by period sets and costumes.
In a video, Pierre Niney even gives us some images of a scene (visibly the escape of Edmond Dantès from the Château d’If prison) filmed in the largest inland basin in the world, located in Belgium. This infrastructure model is the same one that has hosted major films like Life of Pibut above all Titanic. The actor does not hide his enthusiasm:
