Jake Gyllenhaal is Presumed Innocent in a Legal Miniseries: Trailer

Presumed Innocent: Season 2 ordered by Apple TV+

This will be a completely new legal case.

While we do not yet know whether Jake Gyllenhaal is victim or guilty, Apple TV+ announced today that Presumed Innocent will be entitled to a season 2!

Don’t panic: this doesn’t mean that we’ll have to wait years before knowing the truth about Carolyn Polhemus’ death and the verdict of the trial. Indeed, this season 2 will revolve around a ” brand new business ” announces the streamer. It is not yet known whether this will be an original spin-off or an adaptation of another legal novel by Scott Turowwho signed the book Presumed Innocent in 1987.

So, we don’t know if one or more members of the cast of season 1 will return. On the other hand, we do know that behind the scenes, Jake Gyllenhaal will remain a producer, alongside David E. Kelley And JJ Abrams notably.

In the meantime, the finale of the Polhemus affair will be seen on July 24, with the last episode of season 1 of Presumed Innocenton Apple TV + and also Canal + in France.
